Used Audemars Piguet Watches – Raymond Lee Jewelers of Boca Raton, FL offers a wide variety of luxury timepieces from Audemars Piguet. Founded in 1983, the business continues to offer only the best service and values for its watches. Audemars Piguet is a Swiss watch manufacturer founded in 1875. The company is notable for competing with other high-end manufacturers such as Patek Philippe, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Vacheron Constantin. At its launch, the company did not experience much success. However, in 1889, the company opened its first branch in Geneva and began to create its own components under strict quality control. Between 1894 and 1899, the company was producing about 1,200 timepieces. In 1918 and 1919 when the company’s founders died, the company steadily began to experience more success – with companies such as Tiffany & Co, Cartier, and Bulgari becoming big customers. These notable buyers rebranded and sold Audemars Piguet watches under their own house names. After several years, Audemars Piguet produced the world’s smallest minute repeater and a jumping second hand. In 1925, the company also produced the thinnest pocket watch (1.32 mm) and 3 years after that, created the first skeleton watch.
Today, the company produces roughly 26,000 timepieces per year.
